The QX6700 is based on the same 65nm manufacturing process as the other Core 2 processors. It incorporates a total of 8MB of L2 cache, as 4MB per pair of cores. Therein lies a problem: the two caches aren't interconnected. So each pair of cores shares 4MB of cache, and if processor A of core-pair X needs something from the cache of core-pair Y, it has to go out to memory. Juggling cache access to make sure the four cores don't get out of sync with each other is no trivial task.
With the current architecture this will remain an issue, but Intel may solve this when it implements a single-die quad-core chip. But as it stands now, you won't see the full potential of the quad-core processor, as you'll see from some of the benchmark numbers on the following pages. With current and even future operating system support, the advantage of moving from two cores to four doesn't compare to the leap from the NetBurst architecture to Core 2.
This doesn't mean that there isn't a performance increase if you use the right type of multi-threaded applications. If you're into graphics rendering, in particular, you'll see a large performance increase. However, the QX6700's lower clock speed, 2.66GHz, means that in applications that can't take advantage of all the cores, you'll see it fall behind the older Core 2 Extreme X6800, clocked at 2.93GHz.

LCD Poster - Easy System Tweaking with Style
LCD Poster is an excellent feature for system tuning and upgrades. Most hardcore users and engineers install a debug card, which displays a two-digit code that enables them to recognize which part of the system is responsible for hanging the system during boot-up. LCD Poster, located at the back I/O, displays the names of each boot-process instead of using codes. Printer News: Konica Minolta bizhub 40P/40PX Believes Printers Should Be Used, Not Heard
Americans love buffet-style restaurants because they provide enough variety to please the pickiest palates and because they offer seconds (and thirds and fourths). Konica Minolta's new bizhub 40P/40PX laser printers provide the same quantity and flexibility for workgroups and medium-sized offices, without the post-buffet stomach ache.
The Konica Minolta bizhub 40P/40PX models print black-and-white documents at 45 pages per minute. At that speed, you might expect a noisy printer, but Konica Minolta claims that it's an extremely quiet printer that won't interfere with phone conversations.
IT departments will welcome the printer's networking capabilities, compatibility with Windows, Linux, and Macintosh computers, and security features (including password-protected print jobs).
The bizhub 40PX offers enhanced features, such as standard auto-duplex printing (optional feature for the bizhub 40P), 256 MB memory (double that of the bizhub 40P), and a three-year warranty as opposed to the bizhub 40P's one-year warranty.

The ATVR Series Step Up / Step Down Voltage Regulator (Stabilizer) Transformers have previously been employed by every branch of the military, other government agencies, and large corporations to provide a stable source of power for all major appliances and sensitive electronics. Now we are able to provide them for all consumers who have a need for their unique power regulating capabilities. Each model is CE approved and certified.
In addition to converting 220/230/240 volts to 110/120 volts and visa versa, these voltage regulator transformers will stabilize either 120 volts or 220 volts. What that means is they will provide stabilized 120 volts when the input is 120 as well as providing a constant stabilized 220 volts when the input is 220/230/240 volts. The input parameters for stabilization (regulation) of power are 80 volts � 140 volts and 120 volts � 240 volts. The output is stabilized to either 110 volts or 220 volts +/- 4%.
